The hand in the last right corner spelled ASL which means American Sign Language. I painted it on a growing tree as metaphor in growing in confidence and Deaf life of tree. Many eyes show different deaf races. The colorful eyes show the pride and are not struggling with communication by Listening and Speaking Language.  This painting is a series of Needleye and Watchful eyes.
